Mike Beers - HRRC Board President

Mike Beers is a native of Pocatello, graduate of Pocatello High School and Idaho State University. He is a drug and alcohol counselor and the Treatment Coordinator for Bannock County. Mike is committed to helping to improve the quality and accessibility of treatment as well as eliminating stigma associated with addiction and mental health problems. 

Bill Slaven - Treasurer

Bill Slaven is owner and director of the Lighthouse for Recovery in Pocatello.

Reverand Jacqualine Thomas

Pastor Jacqualine Theresa Thomas is the senior Pastor and founder of Praise Temple of God in Pocatello, ID. Pastor Thomas is also the founder of Big Momma’s House, the Vice President of the local NAACP chapter and is pleased to serve on the Board of Directors for Hope and Recovery. She is passionate about God, her two sons and eight grandchildren, helping the homeless and hopeless, serving in the community and pursuing her dreams.

Amanda Gentry

Amanda Gentry currently serves as the Warden for the Pocatello Women's Correctional Center.

Jimmie Gentry

Jimmie Gentry is the coordinator for Region VI Probation and Parole.

BJ Stensland

BJ Stensland serves on the HRRC board as the housing representative.   She is the Executive Director for Aid For Friends,  a non-profit organization that provides emergency shelter, housing programs and social services.

Sheriff Lorin Nielsen

Sheriff Nielsen is a member of the Board of Directors and works closely with HRRC to encourage a recovery community in order to reduce recidivism and protect our community. We are thrilled to have Sheriff Nielsen a part of this powerful Center

Heidi Rasmussen

Chris Daniels - Executive Director - Ex - Secretary

Chris Daniels is a retired educator and pharmacy professor from Idaho State University.  He has lived in Idaho for over 28 years.  He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Friendship Club of Pocatello, a non-profit organization that provides a safe and sober environment for activities and events for the recovery community in Pocatello and the surrounding area.
